The Consulting Queen’s founder and CEO, Brittany Bell, currently works full time as Atlantic Records’ Senior Director of Publicity. Her roster spans from the late Nipsey Hussle—a two postmortem awards winner at the Grammy Awards in 2020 and first-time Grammy Award nominee in 2018 for Best Rap Album (Victory Lap)— Grammy sweeping superstar Bruno Mars/Grammy-nominated duo Silk Sonic, Grammy winner Roddy Ricch, Don Toliver, OhGeesy, singer-songwriter and Grammy-nominated Tayla Parx, to a plethora of rising acts and the soundtracks of seasons 4 and 5 of HBO’s award-winning series, Insecure. Looking to take her publicity expertise to the next level, Bell felt the need to create a space to be able to work on passion projects and opened TCQ in 2019. Although through TCQ, she won’t be taking on any music acts, her goal is to step into different areas of marketing and publicity such as sports, tech, festivals, restaurants and chefs, books, and films.

Bell’s career trajectory began in 2013. Following a series of internships in the film and fashion industries, she graduated that year from California State University, Dominguez Hills (Carson, CA) after earning a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations/advertising. A post-graduation internship at Allied Moxy—the urban division of Allied Integrated Marketing—found the fledgling marketer assisting on campaigns for major studio films such as Godzilla, Get on Up, Fifty Shades of Grey, and Furious 7. After successfully leading the mommy blogger campaign for The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, Bell segued to Allied Moxy’s film publicity department.

While assisting with the department’s marketing/PR campaign for the critically acclaimed 2015 film Straight Outta Compton, Bell switched gears to join publicity firm Industry PR. Working on the talent end of the entertainment spectrum as a junior executive, she collaborated with clients that included actor O’Shea Jackson Jr., rappers Big Sean and Young Jeezy, producer/rapper Hit-Boy and footwear company Shiekh Shoes.

Recruited by renowned firm Rogers & Cowan in late 2015, Bell worked with singer-songwriters Toni Braxton, Keith Sweat, and Sevyn Streeter, Ashanti, Christian artist Lauren Daigle, and pop-rock band The Mrs as well as rapper Machine Gun Kelly. On the event front, she assisted on campaigns for the Hollywood Christmas Parade and led publicity for the inaugural ComplexCon music festival, launched in 2016 by multimedia youth culture firm Complex. Two years later in 2017, Bell accepted her position at Atlantic.
